This session is provided free of charge and acess to this session is strictly for Coventry schools and childcare providers only. These Providers are defined as those whose registered operating address is within the Coventry border.
The aim of the session is to support practitioners to understand their role in supporting School aged children to understand and regulate their behaviours and emotions.
By the end of the session, learners will have had the opportunity to:
· Discuss the behaviours and actions that they find challenging when working with children aged 5-11 years.
· Extend their understanding of the factors that may contribute to dysregulated or challenging behaviour.
· Explore strategies that will support them in promoting and rewarding positive behaviour choices.
· Explore restorative approaches to involving children in resolving minor conflict.
