About International Open Access Week 2020

Open Access Week is an annual event celebrated by individuals, institutions, and organisations across the world to broaden awareness and understanding of open access to scholarly research results. Join the activities that the Open Research team, based in the Library, has organised for University of Exeter (UoE) research community. This event, now entering its thirteenth year, will be held from Monday 19th till Friday 23rd October with the theme: “Taking action to build structural equity and inclusion”

Find out more about publishing open access on the publisher website without having to pay publishing fees – we will cover Publisher Agreements available to University of Exeter researchers and how to identify open access publishing venues that don’t charge publishing fees.

Audience

Researchers at all career stages are welcome in the sessions, from experienced professors to students, and research support staff. All events are delivered online and recording will be available on the Open Research webpage . For more information, contact: openaccess@exeter.ac.uk
