Testimonails

“Race the sun is an excellent personal challenge, not only do you have to overcome the physical challenge of walking 32km the mental challenge of pushing through the toughest terrain on island whilst in the dead of night with only a head torch to light your way is a fortifying moment.

Having completed Race the sun twice it gives a large amount of time to really consider how expansive the galaxy is. As a partaker it takes just under 8 hours to cross the 32km whereas our planet spins at a rate 1,600 km/hr to give us a sunrise every morning. I find this thought grounding and it makes every sunset and sunrise just that little bit more special.

I can’t wait for this year’s race the sun, as I fell short of the full distance last year and have been ready to prove to myself that I can complete this cosmic quest and this year make some money for such a fantastic charity as Headway.

I hope to see you on the trail this year”
