Welcome to Re-set and Re-balance: Yin Yoga and Gong Bath healing workshops!

Join us at Zen Yoga in SE London on 26 April, 7 June and 2 November for these wonderful healing sessions. Each workshop will have a particular focus aligning with different energy centres in the body. A profoundly powerful way to re-balance and re-set in a small group setting.

We will begin with a collective sound scan which uses specific frequencies and vibrations from the voice to promote well-being and potentially address imbalances in the body and mind.

Then moving on to yin yoga, a meditative practice, where poses are held for extended periods to target the connective tissues in the body, meridians (energy channels), associated organs and chakras (energy centres), to release deeply held physical and emotional tension and unblock stagnant energy.

During the yoga practice, Tibetan singing bowls will be placed on your body or 111hz tuning fork used on your bones to deepen your healing experience. Finally, lying back and surrendering to the resonant vibrations of the ancient gong, to promote deep relaxation, stress reduction and a sense of peace.


About the Teachers

Kanwal / Yogabliss

Kanwal’s teaching style is characterized by warmth, intuition and clear communication. Her classes are engaging and inclusive, with an emphasis on deep stretches, slow flows and mindful breathing. She encourages students to go beyond the physical postures and to delve into the transformative philosophy that underlies yoga. Kanwal was drawn to yoga in her 20s as a way of keeping a center of gravity whilst doing a robust job working on women's rights and social justice and eventually trained with Yoghaven in 2010 (hot, vinyasa) and more recently with Norman Blair (yin). Kanwal has had a regular meditation and qi gong practice since 2017. She currently teaches hatha and yin yoga styles in South London.

San / Soul Aurganic Sound Healing

San is a trained Sound Healing Practitioner who uses gongs, crystal bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, drums, tuning forks and voice. She recently created quantum healing modality called Toroidal Stargate Activation that facilitates directing toroidal energy in one's energy field and consciousness.

What should I bring?

Please bring a shawl/extra layer and eye mask if possible. Bring your own water. All yoga equipment is provided (but you can bring your own yoga mat if you prefer).

Is the workshop suitable for everyone?

Unsuitable for pregnant individuals or those with tinnitus, pacemakers, epilepsy, or severe mental health conditions. Participants take full responsibility for their own health, if in doubt seek the advice of your doctor.

What is the cancellation policy?

Refunds can be made for cancellations made at least 7 days before the start date of the workshop. For cancellations less than 7 days before workshop there will be no refunds or transfers unless a workshop is full and your place can be filled from a waiting list.
