Rebel Women in Art History is a dynamic, three-lesson online course that explores the bold contributions of women who defied artistic, social, and institutional norms throughout the 20th and 21st centuries. Far from being passive muses or footnotes, these artists challenged the canon, rewrote the rules, and reshaped the visual and cultural landscapes of their time. Through engaging lectures, visual analysis, and hands-on creative exercises, learners will uncover how these women pushed the boundaries of identity, politics, and aesthetics by reclaiming their space in art history.
DATES: 14th, 21st and 28th May.
TIME: 7-9pm.

TERM Art Classes have been nationally commissioned by the likes of Vans x MoMA. They have been acknowledged by The National Archives and shortlisted for Marsh Awards. TERM tutors are all artists and curators with experience of working for the likes of Liverpool Biennial and UP Projects. They will guide you with their background of degree and Masters level education in Critical Theory, Performance Art, Scenography, Fine Art and History, including studies at The Royal Drawing School. Now you can join their community of professional and budding artists at these relaxed and welcoming online classes from the comfort of your own space, anywhere in the world!
You will need:
- A space to relax and listen.
- A surface to create on (paper, iPad, notebook, etc).
- Drawing or art materials of your choice (such as pencils, graphite, crayons, or soft pastels, etc.). Please note that optional art activities will be included occasionally during the course. These activities will only require basic materials. You will receive an email before each class with a list of any additional materials. Rest assured, they will always remain simple and easy to source.

- Feel free to bring drinks and snacks!
TERM is streamed LIVE via Zoom on London UK time zone. Coordinated and delivered by professional artists Klaire Doyle, Anna FC Smith, and guests based in England.
