Welcome to the Reconnecting Webinar. This is an opportunity to hear about what's important to young people when shaping and taking part in research, and how we can amplify the voices of children and young people in research, ensuring their views are embedded in future research and projects.
We held a successful in-person event in February, in Birmingham, where we brought together children and young people from across the UK, to discuss their role and voice in research. The event was co-designed with young people and supported by GenerationR (Liverpool team) and the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Research Delivery Network, with funding from the Department of Health and Social Care. On the day, we discussed the importance of involving young people in research, and the best approaches to involving them well.
In this webinar, we will present insights from the day, alongside a report which has been produced with feedback from the young people planning group.
Full details of the webinar will be shared closer to the event, as well as a link to the webinar.
We look forward to seeing you there!
