About this event

Join our marine team for a guided tour of the rocky shore as we go in search of weird and wonderful marine life in the rockpools. Learn amazing facts about wildlife on the Yorkshire coast as we uncover crabs, seek out starfish and search for butterfish!

Please note, children must be supervised by an adult throughout the event.

Embrace your wild side - what to expect:

This event is suitable for both adults and children. The event will involve walking over uneven ground on the rocky shore and on slippery surfaces. Please ensure to wear suitable footwear and to bring waterproof clothing. We will be walking through rockpools so waterproof shoes are required - wellies would be best.

What to bring/wear

This event takes place outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! We'd recommend sturdy and waterproof footwear or wellies and lots of layers. If it's a hot day, remember a hat and sun cream.

Toilets and catering

Please be aware that Yorkshire Wildlife Trust do not have facilities in Scarborough. However, there are a number of public toilets and catering facilities nearby.

Covid-19 secure
