It is a two day course and partcipants will need to attend both days

Course Overview

The YSS Stage 2 is designed for those who want to build there sailing skills on from thie stage 1 or previous experience. It expands on those skills taught on stage 1 whilst also learning fun and exciting new skills. Such as tacking, gybing, ropework and collision avoidance. It will be ran over two days primarily on one weekend.

What do you need?

BCYC can provide wetsuits, helmets and spray tops.

Students must bring their own lunch (There is access to a kettle, fridge and microwave)

Teas and Coffee's are available to buy

Appropriate footwear. (Wetsuit boats, Old lightweight trainers.)

As well as a dry change of clothes.

Guardian must stay on site.

Costs

Member Cost is £100

Non-member Cost is £150

Ages 10-15

Parking is available on site. (Entrace at the axbridge resorvoir car park. the lock will be set ajacent and signed to be left open.)

Entries close 14 days prior to the first day of the course.

Refunds will only be available if the course is cancelled.

Bristol Corinthian Yacht Club (BCYC) is a Training Centre certified by the Royal Yachting Association, the governing body for sailing in the U.K. 

BCYC exists to help people enjoy a range of watersports, whatever your ability or age. Anyone is welcome to join us afloat at Cheddar Reservoir near Axbridge. Although the club atmosphere is relaxed, informal and friendly we aim to provide a professional environment for teaching a range of watersports including Sailing, Windsurfing, Powerboating, Stand-Up Paddleboards and Sit-On Kayaks.
