The Sandringham Craft, Wood and Food Festival – May 3rd / 4th & 5th

The Sandringham Craft, Wood and Food Festival is a truly unique event comprising of a quality Craft Fair and a Food Festival all rolled into one.

The event offers an array of quality Craft Stands and traditional craft demonstrations such as glass blowing, blacksmiths and wood working. While the food festival is jam packed with local and national producers, retailers and artisans in a number of food halls within the show.

Here you will find our cookery theatre, a large marquee with cookery demonstrations throughout the day from some of the most well known tv chef personalities such as Rosemary Shrager, Levi Roots, Andrew Clarke, Galton Blackiston and Alysia Greenwood – The Yorkshire Forager (all included in the daily entrance price).

Accompanied by specialist street food vendors and bars for you to enjoy and relax while listening to various music from jazz bands to solo artists.

The English Open Chainsaw Competition returns and attracts the finest chainsaw carvers from around the world, from England, Wales, Ireland, Finland, USA and Canada. Some of these carvers enter competitions all over the world and have appeared on the TV series A Cut Above on Blaze TV.

One of the stars of the series, Chris Wood will be entering this years English Open Chainsaw Competition.

A competition to produce an amazing sculpture over the weekend, judged by our very own panel of experts. This will be accompanied with a speed carving arena, with 30 minute speed carves every day, with a chance to purchase your favourite in the auctions that follow.

Taking part in the arena will be the Axe men, a fast-paced display of chopping and sawing.

With Falconry displays, puppet shows, hamsters and fun fair, there’s something for everyone at the Sandringham Craft, Wood and Food Festival. There is something for the whole family to enjoy at another unbeatable day out at Sandringham Estate, brought to you by Living Heritage Events.

Can I use my ticket for any day?

Yes, tickets are valid for any day for one day only.

Can I bring my Dog?

Yes of course, dogs to be kept on lead, dog bags to be used and put in rubbish bins provided, no dogs to be kept in cars unattended. Please beware that shows are busy and can have noisy attractions and displays.

Can I hire a mobility scooter?

In 1977 the Queen's Silver Jubilee Year we held our 1st Antique & Collectors Fair. In 1980 we held our very 1st Craft Fair which then started of the craft fair movement, 1992 saw our very first Country Fair at Himley Hall which proved such a success we carried on to organise events at Sandringham, Burghley House and Bowood House to name a few. The first ever English Open Chainsaw Carving Competition was held at Sandringham, thirteen years on the competition is now held at our Cheshire Event and continues to draw the worlds top chainsaw carvers to compete for the coverted title. With Game & Country Shows, Craft Shows and Food Festival all over the Country and with nearly 40 years of experience you're sure to have a great day out.
