Does my child qualify for a free place?

Accepted Answer

Children who are entitled to benefit-related Free School Meals, receive benefit-related support or can prove financial difficulty can access our camps for free. If you are not sure if your child is entitled please contact us direct at poppy@activefusion.org.uk

Question 2

My child does not qualify for a free place, can they still attend?

Accepted Answer

Of course, however, there is a charge of £5.00 a day to help us sustain our camps, cover staffing costs and ensure that camps are accessible for all children.

Question 3

Will all children receive a free lunch at your Fusion Camps?

Accepted Answer

Lunch is provided for FREE tickets on this camp. If you have selected a PAID ticket then please note that lunch will NOT provided. Please provide your child with a packed lunch, a water bottle which can be refilled on-site and any further refreshments you wish.

Question 4

What can my child expect during Fusion Camps?

Accepted Answer

A bucket load of activities, every school holiday. With great value sports, creative arts, and games to enjoy each half-term, we have plenty for your children to get stuck into in the school break! A more detailed agenda will be sent out to all booked parents/guardians prior to the camps commencing.

What does my child need to bring to camp?

Accepted Answer

Please provide your children with a packed lunch, a refillable water bottle and any further snacks or refreshments that they may require. Please ensure that your child is dressed in clothing suitable for sporting activities.

Question 6

My child has allergies or other requirements, how do I let Active Fusion know about this?

Accepted Answer

When completing the booking form, you will be asked to complete a participant form on behalf of your child where you will be prompted to provide details on allergies, dietary requirements, special educational needs and any other requirements unique to them.

Question 7

Is my child allowed to bring their mobile phone to Fusion Camp?

Accepted Answer

Your child is allowed to bring their mobile to camp but we ask that they are switched off and put away during camp hours. This not only provides a safe environment for all attendees but also ensures that your child fully benefits from all that Fusion Camp has to offer.

Question 8

My child is ill, can I still bring them to Fusion Camp?

Accepted Answer

If your child is ill we politely request that you do not bring them to Fusion Camp. This will give them time to rest and recover and will help protect the other children at our camps as well as our staff.

Question 9

My child arrived late to camp and the door is locked. How do we access the building?

Accepted Answer

All of our camp venues are secured 15 minutes after the camp start time to provide a secure environment for all participants. If you arrive late to camp and cannot access the building then please contact our office on 01302 637276 who will notify the relevant camp lead.
