About this event

  • Event lasts 2 days 6 hours

Sharing Ingredients is a free multisensory exhibition co-created by Pepa Duarte and Louise Carpenedo, exploring personal stories of food, identity, and memory. Showcasing the experiences of participants from Eating Stories—a series of immersive workshops led by Duarte—the exhibition invites visitors to step into deeply personal reflections on nourishment, heritage, and belonging.

Taking place at Cubitt Gallery, London (June 20–22, 2025), the exhibition unfolds through handwritten memories, cherished family recipes, and shared reflections. At its heart, a communal kitchen table becomes a space for exchange—where visitors can leave their own stories, share secret ingredients, and reflect on the ways food connects us to home, to our bodies, and to one another.

Intimate, textured, and participatory, Sharing Ingredients invites you to engage with the vulnerability and richness of these narratives—tracing the flavours of identity and the unspoken ties between food and self.

Dates: 20-22 June - 12 to 6 pm
