This webinar will show you single parent friendly job vacancy websites, recruitment agencies and how to find returner programmes offered by employers. It will also cover how to find free learning opportunities including studying from home.

By the end of this session, you will have a more informed understanding of:

  • how to access information you need to move forward with your career ideas
  • websites that can provide you with useful information on returning to work
  • a range of job vacancy sources
  • where to find free digital training courses to develop your I.T. skills
  • where to find information on funding for learning

Webinars are delivered via Microsoft Teams

For new customers, we recommend that you have an appointment with a National Careers Service adviser before the webinar takes place.

In the appointment the careers adviser will help you to:

  • explore different careers and options
  • review your strengths, skills and develop your career goals
  • plan your next steps
  • make the best use of high-quality, career-related tools
  • understand the local job market
  • access learning, training, apprenticeship and employment opportunities, including making applications
  • develop your CV, interview skills and job searching techniques
  • implement your plan of action.
