Join our team in store for this guided session in pen turning.
You will be guided step-by-step in the preparation of your pen blank right through to the turning, finishing and assembly of your selected pen, which you get to take home at the end.
You will learn the basic skills required for between centre turning. You will focus on chisel techniques for roughing down and refining your blank, using a range of woodturning tools, making this is the perfect course for anyone wanting to try woodturning for the first time.
All materials and PPE will be supplied.
The course is being offered at an introductory price £50 (usual price £75).
Please note the following:
- Course attendees should wear suitable clothing and sturdy footwear.
- This course is not suitable for children below the age of 13.
- Children over the age of 13 can take part but should be accompanied by an adult.
- There will be a short break during the course where refreshments will be provided, but please note lunch is not included.
