Thorpe St Andrew Sixth Form look forward to welcoming you to our Open Evening on 04th November 2021

On Friday 22 October, we have received communication from Norfolk County Council instructing schools that non-essential events where parents visit schools should be held virtually due to the rise of COVID-19 cases in the area.

It is therefore with deep regrets that we will have to cancel our face-to-face Sixth Form Open Evening on Thursday 4 November.

However, we are still keen to offer you the opportunity to talk to the various subjects that we have on offer at our Sixth Form. Therefore, the Open Evening will move to an online event on the same and at the same time (5.00 pm - 8.00 pm) via our Sixth Form Experience website. 

Here, you will be able to:

· Listen to our Principal and Director of Sixth Form Welcome messages

· Talk to teachers by clicking on their subject tile

· Talk to a member of the Sixth Form Team regarding your options, the 16-19 Bursary, transport or pastoral support

· Meet with our Oxbridge Russell Bridging Intervention Team

· Talk to our Pathway Guidance Officer for any advice on Careers and your next steps

· Meet members of Team 6, our Sixth Form Council, to understand what they do and how to get involved and hear what it is like to study at our Sixth Form from a student’s perspective

The above meetings will take place via Zoom and can be accessed via the Sixth Form Experience website. 

We look forward to seeing you remotely on Thursday 4 November.
