Time 10:00-11:00
Skate session suitable for children from 5 years.
We will have coaches on hand to guide you through the taking your first steps on your skateboard, helping you to build your confidence as you transition onto the next level of skating.
This project is led by experienced coach Frank, with support from other coaches, and is made possible thanks to funding from the South Kerrier Alliance CIC .
Reserve a ticket to secure your space, if you have your own equipment, please bring it along but not to worry if you don’t as we have helmets and skateboards which are free to use.
All participants should arrive with appropriate footwear - which includes trainers, gym shoes or plimsolls. Please do not wear sandals (including crocs), flip-flops or other open-toed shoes, or shoes with raised heels or wedges.
All coaches are experienced, with DBS certificates and child safeguarding training.
This event is insured through South Kerrier Alliance CIC Community Group Membership of Skateboard GB, the National Governing Body for skateboarding.
We will register all participants on arrival and take parents'/carers' contact details

The South Kerrier Alliance CIC own and run Coronation Park for the “benefit of the residents of Helston and The Lizard” and we want everyone to be able to enjoy our events.
To try and make our events as accessible as possible, we are offering various ticket prices for this event and a free ticket draw. Please book the ticket that reflects what you can afford right now. You won’t be asked any questions and your ticket options won’t be shared with anyone.

If you cannot afford a ticket right now please enter our free ticket draw. We will give away as many tickets as we are able to and we will inform you if you have won tickets a minimum of three days before the event. CANCELLATIONS
We know that sometimes life can be busy and plans can change, please make sure you let us know at least 48 hours in advance if you are unable to make a booked session. These sessions are always oversubscribed with a waiting list and unfortunately in the past when people have failed to attend with no notice we have had no time to offer these spaces to the children on the waiting list. Because of popularity of these workshops if you fail to give notice of a cancellation this will impact on future workshop bookings you may wish to make.
