About this event
Sound Of The Shore is a step away from your everyday and on the 7th + 8th June, 500 Music lovers will come together on a secret beach to celebrate summer and the joys of live music.
Your favourite event of the summer is back with 2 days of live entertainment, camping, and much more.

Please observe our event FAQ'S below:
1. Is there on site car parking?
Yes, we have plentiful free car parking on site. Just following the directions to "Sound of the Shore" and our wonderful parking attendants will show you to a space upon entry.
2.Will you accept card payments on the day?
As a CASH ONLY EVENT no card payments can be accepted. However, our local village does have an ATM.
3. Can I buy a ticket on the day?
Tickets are limited and can only be purchased via our Eventbrite page and attached links. Gate sales are not an option.
4. Can I bring my own alcohol?
With our own licensed bar, strictly no alcohol can be brought into the festival.
5. What types of tickets do you offer?
We have an array of wonderful local talent on show throughout the weekend commencing on Saturday at 17:00 and continuing into Sunday for the "Sunday Session". There is the option to purchase a Weekend ticket with or without camping, or alternatively you can select a day ticket for the day of your choice.
6. Where is the festival?
We are located on a very special, "secret" beach on the shores of Lough Neagh. You can find us at 99 Shore Road, Ballyronan.
7. How can I travel to the festival?
We will have parking available on site, or you can get dropped off at our designated drop-off zone. The Shore Road is a busy road without a footpath so walking from the village is not advised.
8. Will food and drink be available?
Yes, we have a fully licensed bar on site and food will be available to purchase throughout the weekend. Vegetarian options will be available. No food or drink can be brought in to the festival.
9. Are there I.D. or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Ticketholders must be 18 or over to attend the Weekend or Saturday events, and must present I.D. on arrival. Children and teenagers are welcome on Sunday with an accompanying adult.
10. Is there disabled access onto the festival?
Yes, we have a raised area with gravel and lawn with full view of our stage. Any special requirements should be communicated to the organiser in advance so that we are aware of any specific needs. A disabled toilet will be available.
11. What is the refund policy?
Only in the event of cancellation or postponement by the organiser can refunds be issued.
12. Can I bring my pet dog?
No, unfortunately we do not permit any pet animals on site at any time.
FAQs- Camping (Tents)
1. When can I arrive, and when do I have to leave again?
Our campsite will open from 15:00 on Saturday 7th June 2025, and gates to the event will open from 16:00. Please do not arrive on site before 15:00!
On Sunday our event will open at 12:00 and our campsite will be closed at 14:00.
2. Can I camp on Sunday night as well?
Camping will only be available on Saturday night and campers are required to have packed up their campsite by 14:00 on Sunday. Make sure to organise your designated driver!
3. Can I bring my own food and drink?
As a small, independent festival we rely on our bar and kitchen sales to keep the festival alive. However, campers are permitted to bring the necessities with them. Strictly no food or drink can be brought out of the campsite. For safety reasons, no glass bottles or sharp objects (such as cooking knives) can be brought to the festival and searches will be carried out by our security team.
4. Are there washing and toilet facilities?
Yes, we will have toilet facilities located nearby, with running water.
5. Can I bring a BBQ or light a camp fire?
Strictly no BBQs or camp fires are permitted in the campsite. Anyone found starting a fire will be removed from the festival immediately.
6. How do you access the campsite?
The campsite can be accessed a short walk from our car park located on site.
7. Are there any restrictions on the size of the tent?
As space will be limited please do keep your fellow campers in mind and only bring the size that you need. Gazebos and are not permitted!
8. Can day ticket holders access the campsite?
Everyone will be given a coloured wristband on entry upon presentation of their purchased ticket. Only those with a Weekend ticket and associated wristband will be permitted into the campsite.
9. Is there a charging station on site for mobile devices?
We would suggest bringing a portable power bank if you have one.
10. Will breakfast be available?
Yes, breakfast and hot drinks will be available to purchase on Sunday morning on the beach for our campers.
11. Due to limited availability, if you would like to camp on Saturday night then you can purchase our Weekend (+ camping) ticket. This will get you entry to the festival all weekend, but if you are unable to attend on Sunday then there is no obligation to stay.
In the spirit of the festival, please respect your neighbour and the space around you. Anti social behaviour, littering and late night noise will not be tolerated.
FAQs - Campervans/Tent Boxes (no caravans)
We have limited space for campervans and Tent Boxes so tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis. Tickets are sold per person (and not per campervan). Tents and gazebos are not permitted in the campervan site. Towing caravans are also not permitted.
