Space Safari is a captivating drone light show for enfused with cinematic sound and light. The drone light show narrates the wanderlust adventures of safari animals who journey through the cosmos in a display of courage, love and self-belief. Narrated by Bafta award-winning TV presenter Michaela Strachan, this is a first of-its-kind event you don't want to miss!

Important Weather Policy
Drone shows are highly sensitive to weather, and if weather conditions prevent Space Safari from proceeding as planned, the event will be rescheduled to a new date at the same venue.
Tickets are non-refundable in the case of rescheduling due to weather. Contingency dates will be 21st, 24th, 25th, 26th or 27th September and ticket holders will be contacted via SMS and email with updates. Refunds will only be provided if the contingency dates cannot be fufilled.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to comply with safety guidelines and accept the possibility of rescheduling the event to the contingency dates.

Yes, Space Safari is suitable for dogs! There is a designated area for dogs where the soundtrack volume will be lower. However please note that the event will have large crowds and bright lights in the sky and we encourage you to consider your dog's comfort. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times

Yes, the Space Safari show will be narrated, enhancing the storytelling and overall experience.
Carers can attend for free but they must provide valid proof upon entry. If no valid proof is provided or if the ID is deemed invalid, the individual will be required to purchase a full-price ticket. We will accept Carers card, Allowance letter, DLA/PIP letter, Access card (showing you require a +1)
Space Safari is an open-air, standing event. We encourage comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear to fully enjoy the experience.
Some areas of the site are on grass so we advise that you wear appropriate footwear and consider the weather.
We operate a strict no refund policy, however we have an official ticket reselling partner called Tixel where you can safely sell your tickets if you wish. Ticket type transfers are possible if there is availability, However there may be a cost depending on the tickets.
In the event of adverse weather conditions there is a possibility that the event will be postponed to a later date. All attendees will be informed via email and SMS messaging.
Parking is available at Newcastle Racecourse for a small fee of £3.99 (+ Evenbrite fees) per car and can be purchased through Eventbrite add ons.
