About this event

  • Event lasts 6 hours

Anti racists are calling out Reform UK as a racist party that blames refugees, migrants and Muslims for the problems in society.

Reform UK won four million votes in the 2024 general election, claims almost 200,000 members and has established branches across Britain. Years of rhetoric demonising Muslims and scapegaoting refugees by mainstream parties have normalised and legitimised racist ideas.

Meanwhile, fascist figurehead 'Tommy Robinson' and his supporters are organising to build a fascist movement on the streets. They are encouraged by of the world's most powerful man, Donald Trump, and have gained public support from the world's richest man, Nazi-saluting Elon Musk.

Nigel Farage claims to be a 'man of the people', but he is a tax-dodging millionaire who attended one of the most expensive private schools in Britain. Reform has pledged to cut taxes for the largest corporations, £50 cuts for public services and it tries to point the finger away from the the rich.

In Scotland, polls project Reform could enter the Scottish parliament in the May 2026 election with up to 15 MSPs.

We say this is not inevitable. Mass campaigning and anti-racist organisation has helped turn the tide against the far-right before - and we can do it again.

This is a summit for anti-racists, community and trade union activists, socialists and all those who want to help build a mass movement to challenge Reform UK, and expose theracism at the heart of their fake anti-establishment agenda.

Announced speakers include: Gordon Martin, RMT Scotland organiser - Kadi Johnson, justice campaigner and Sheku Bayoh's sister - Roz Foyer, STUC general secretary - Humza Yousaf, former First Minister -Qasim Sheikh, ex-cricketer and podcaster - Pinar Aksu human rights activists - Neil Mackay, Herald columnist - Cat Mackay, Perth Against Racism - many more TBA

  • Stop Reform 2026: organise to stop the far-right making a breakthrough in the May 2026 Holyrood elections
