These sessions will give you the space you need to reflect on your emotions and help you to prevent and deal with stress and burnout through basic wellbeing techniques and Restorative Clinical Supervision.

What is Restorative Clinical Supervision and what it means for me?

Restorative – Supports staff with the emotional impact of clinical practice. Allows staff to express their feelings. Improves self confidence. ​

Formative – Awareness of own abilities through reflection. Sharing good practice. Identify developmental needs.​

Normative - Reflect on own practice. Allows for honest feedback. Improves nursing practice.​

Personal Action for Development – Quality improvement, improving patient care. ​

I am not on placement at UHD, can I attend?

Unfortunately, these sessions are provided for UHD students on placement due to a number of reasons. Therefore, if you are NOT a UHD student you may not attend, speak to your placement provider and see what training they offer.

The session is sold out, how do I get a ticket?

The session is sold out, how do I get a ticket? If the event is sold out, then we recommend you speak to the person facilitating the training and ask if there are spaces as people who have booked may not have attended. They may not be able to accommodate, but it is worth asking!
