About this event

Take on the Pen-y-ghent Peak

Complete this six mile trek in some of the very best scenery the UK has to offer.

This challenge is ideal for both groups and individuals. It’s a fantastic team-building exercise and hugely rewarding, helping to generate crucial funds for Sue Ryder's expert end-of-life care and grief support.

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. Thanks to the fundraising of our supporters, we can be there when it matters, so that no one has to face dying or grief alone.

Register your place

The £25 registration fee (per person) covers the cost of this event and so we ask that each member of your team raises a minimum of £100 for either Sue Ryder Manorlands or Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice.

Your local hospice fundraising team will be on hand to help you every step of the way. We can provide you with collection buckets, banners, bunting and more to help you with your fundraising.

If you are walking as a group of 5 or more, please contact wheatfields.fundraising@sueryder.org for a 20% discount code.

Please note, anyone who takes part in the Challenge will need to sign up via Eventbrite, as we will not be able to accept any on-the-day entries.

We are there when it matters

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone.

Currently, only a third of our hospice funding comes from the government. This means we completely rely on the generosity of our amazing supporters to cover the remaining costs of our end of life care and services for grieving families.

75p in every £1 spent goes towards our palliative and bereavement support.
