Where is the event being held?

Sugar and Spice Book Signing 2025 will be held at Sheffield United Football Club, Bramall Lane, Sheffield, S2 4SU on the 19th July 2025. It will be held at the executive stand on John Street overlooking the football pitch within the International Suite and Tony Currie Suites.

Does the venue have any parking?

Yes, there is a free car park on Cherry Street with over 400 spaces available. This is just a 5 minute walk around the outside of the stadium to the John Street Executive Stand and the lifts taking you straight up to level 2 and the book signing event reception.

Are tickets refundable?

There are no refunds available for tickets to this event. Tickets can only be purchased through eventbrite.

Is the venue accessible for wheelchairs?

Yes, for both the daytime and evening events there are ramps, disabled access toilets and a lift to access all areas.

Is there anywhere to have a rest during the day?

Yes, the Chris Morgan suite, which is located just after the lifts and where our sign in area for the event is. This will be a small area for readers to take a short break. Also within the International Suite there is access to the sensory room.

Is the venue easily accessible?

Sheffield United Football Club is in the main city centre of Sheffield. We have a train station just over a mile away and lots of transportation links consisting of two bus networks nearby. The nearest airports are Manchester Airport and East Midlands.

How do I find out the attending author line up? Can this change?

The line up is displayed in the Sugar and Spice Reader Group on Facebook, on the banner and pinned to the top. It also pinned on the facebook page. Please note it is subject to change though as unfortunately sometimes authors or vendors may need to cancel.

What are your age brackets with children costs please?

Under 8 years old are free, 8-14 years are £5 and over 14years old are charged at adult ticket prices. If you have a child and purchase a ticket they enter according to the who else they are attending with. (Please note that if this is early entry the child doesn’t receive a tote or special lanyard)

Where is the evening event taking place

The evening event will be taking place at The Executive suite on John Street on the 2nd floor in the International Suite. Please make your way to this area on the evening.
