ParkBathe is a citizen-science project providing mindful walks and nature connection as a means to improve the health and wellbeing of people who might not normally engage in wellness activities. ParkBathe uses aspects of 'forest bathing', forest school and mindfulness and involves walking slowly in a local green space whilst noticing our surroundings (no water is involved!)

The 1 hr guided sessions consist of small groups (max 12 people) in Stambourne Woods, SE19.

We are an entirely voluntary project and these sessions are offered free with the option to DONATE. We ask you to pause a moment before you book and consider if you can afford a donation ticket today. Donating covers essentials like insurance and advertising and allows us to continue providing these walks for free.

For guidance on what to donate and our policy head HERE.

* We suggest you book up to 3 sessions so you gain the accumulative benefits and learn the techniques for yourself. Wear warm layers, sturdy shoes and wet weather gear as required (we go out in the rain!). Pls bring water/snacks/suncream according to season.

MEETING PLACE: The entrance to STAMBOURE WOODS on Auckland Road SE19, this is an exact location to find the entrance as it is not obvious. (This entrance is roughly opposite nos 122/124 Auckland Road)

Frequently asked questions

What mobility is this suitable for?

This is a woodland walk and although only covers a short distance of 200-300m requires walking on uneven ground, over small logs and up slight inclines. You will need to be able to walk for around 50 minutes. We have other venues that are low-mobility and wheelchair friendly so check those out too.
