Sustainable farming for a competitive future

How can we boost competitiveness in the farming sector in the face of climate change? With farms across the EU closing at an alarming rate and food producers struggling to make ends meet, it has never been more important to create a fair and competitive system for farmers that provides long-term resilience and profitability.

This event will explore how sustainable farming practices can allow farmers to work with, not against, the ecosystems on which farming relies whilst earning a decent income in the process – which many farmers are failing to achieve with conventional farming methods.

During the event you'll hear from farmers, policymakers and environmental NGOs as they discuss the challenges and opportunities presented to farmers and how policy can better support them in the transition to sustainable practices.
