University of Exeter - Level 7 Systems Thinking Practitioner Apprenticeship information session

Location: Event hosted online

Aim

To provide employers and potential candidates with comprehensive information about the Systems Thinking Practitioner Degree Apprenticeship that is offered by the University of Exeter.

Overview

The event will be hosted by Maya Vachkova, the Programme Director for the L7 Systems Thinking Practitioner (STP) Apprenticeship. The programme aims to assist employers in addressing the complex challenges presented by working in the 21st century. Wicked or complex problems are characterised by cutting across traditional silos and hierarchies and affecting a number of different interrelated areas – like climate change, organisational restructuring, integrating services, widening participation, etc.

To meet these complex challenges, the university offers applied systems thinking training in terms of boundary analysis, systemic diagnosis and design, systems modelling, surfacing assumptions, and negotiating improvement among diverse stakeholders.

The session will also cover the practicalities of undertaking this programme of learning as an apprenticeship.

Please note that this apprenticeship programme is currently focussed on those employed within the public sector.
