The 8th of May celebrates the 80th anniversary of VE Day, when victory in Europe was celebrated after the surrender of Germany’s forces on the Eastern Front. Join Curator Rebecca to hear about how St John Ambulance volunteers worked hard to provide medical and welfare support for British civilians and soldiers throughout the war.

This is a free, relaxed event. Drop-ins are welcome, or you can pre-register through Eventbrite. The event will take place in the Museum Galleries which are on ground level with step-free access throughout.
