The Effective Manager - Module 3 (Employee Management)

The Effective Manager Development Course is designed to be delivered in small group workshops with the purpose of enhancing the skills and knowledge of your managers around HR, employment law and people management.

This will give your managers valuable theoretical and practical knowledge that they will immediately be able to take away and implement.

Our course is split into four modules to cover some essential people management skills. Each module is designed to be delivered in a half-day session via Zoom/Teams.

There will be some pre-reading for each module. This will be sent to you once you have registered.

There will also be a workbook for each module and signposts for further reading and resources. The workbook will be sent to you as a pdf once you have registered and you might choose to print the workbook out ahead of the workshop itself.

Module 3: Employee Management

• Disciplinary and Grievances.
• Workplace investigations.
• Sickness and other absence management.

Learning Outcomes

• Develop a sound working knowledge of the practical and legal requirement for disciplinary and grievances.
• Understand how to undertake a robust, fair and reasonable workplace investigation.
• Enhance consideration of sickness absence management and wellbeing.

Costs

Our half day workshop modules are £180 plus VAT per person. This is a small group session and the number of attendees will be limited to 12 attendees on each workshop delivered by Teams.

You can access just one workshop according to need or enrol your managers on the entire course.

These workshops are excellent management training for developing managers and for experienced managers who want to improve their understanding of employment law and HR. This course will help give you and your managers confidence to manager people well and grow and protect the organisation.
