FAQ's

1. Can I get a refund if I cannot attend the event due to illness, COVID, or any other reason?

Unfortunately, according to our Terms and Conditions, tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled. However, you have the option to resell or transfer your tickets since we do not require names for entry. Please note that contracting COVID or any other illness does not qualify for a refund.

2. I haven’t received my tickets/confirmation email. How can I find it?

In many instances, guests who are unable to locate their tickets may find that their email address was misspelt. Additionally, if you used PayPal or Apple Pay, your tickets may have been sent to the email address associated with those accounts. If you still cannot find your tickets, please contact us at info@greatgatsbyball.co.uk

3. Can I amend my ticket if I purchased it for the wrong time slot?

If there is availability, ticket transfers are possible. Please contact us at info@greatgatsbyball.co.uk for further assistance. However, if the event is sold out, we cannot accommodate a transfer as there are no available spaces left.

4. Will there be more tickets available if the event is sold out?

If the event is sold out, we will not release any additional tickets or sell them at the door due to maximum capacity and health and safety regulations.

5. Is there a waiting list for sold-out events?

We do not currently have a waiting list at this time.

6. Do you offer concessions for disabled attendees?

Yes, we provide a free Personal Assistance ticket for registered disabled individuals upon receiving supporting documents such as PIP or Access Card. Please contact us at info@greatgatsbyball.co.uk for assistance.

7. Are there seating options available for those who cannot stand for long periods?

Limited seating is usually provided for individuals who are less able to stand or need to rest.

8. Is the venue accessible?

Our events take place in various locations across the UK. Please check the venue's website for accessibility information.

9. Is there a dress code?

Yes, there is a dress code, we expect everyone to dress to impress! The goal is to step into the opulent world of 1920s New York, where fashion, music, and excess are celebrated, so we request that our attendees embrace this. Tuxedos and ball gowns are definitely encouraged!

Refund Terms & Conditions: Please note that in-line with normal consumer standards for ticket purchases, tickets for The Great Gatsby Ball are non-refundable, unless we move the event or cancel it. Please note that due to the date of this event being moved on January 7th 2025 and in-line with normal consumer standards for ticket purchases, the deadline to request refunds on this basis is Friday 17th January. Failure to request a refund by the applicable deadline will be deemed to be a reconfirmation of your order for Tickets or Ticket Packages for the rescheduled event, and you will not be able to claim a refund. Refunds on the basis of the date change will only be valid for tickets purchased before 3:00pm on 7th January 2025. Should you no longer be able to attend, you are welcome to gift or sell your tickets onwards as we do not use names on the tickets as a condition of entry.
