Join CMI’s Chief Executive, Ann Francke, for a new series of interactive events with extraordinary leaders; Leadership Lounge.
These hybrid events will feature a fireside chat between Ann and her guest, to understand how their journeys and experiences have informed their leadership styles. The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions, as well as network over a drink afterwards.
Our first guest will be Baroness Minouche Shafik; economist, policymaker, and higher education leader who up until recently was the President of Columbia University.
Between 2017 and 2023 she was President and Vice Chancellor of the London School of Economics (LSE), one of the world’s leading centers for research and teaching in the social sciences.
Before her tenure at LSE, Minouche served as Deputy Governor of the Bank of England; Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund; Permanent Secretary of the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development; and the youngest-ever Vice President of the World Bank.
Sign up to hear Minouche’s reflection on her professional journey, her leadership ethos and how she approaches the world of work.
Keep an eye out for details on upcoming Leadership Lounge, with upcoming guests including Reed Recruitment’s CEO, James Reed.
