This programme provides you and/or your team members with new tools and skills, relevant to their own roles to be successful and confident while taking care of themselves.

What’s covered

Over the two days, we provide a whole range of tools that they can add to their toolkit to keep them in the sweet spot between surviving and thriving. Some of the tools are about prevention and stability and others are aimed at when we need to react to a curve ball or 3 in a positive, productive way, that doesn’t compromise our values or mean selling our soul! 😊

HR FOR HR’s mantra is "Everything starts with You" and this is why we have created an intimate, tailored and immersive experience where attendees (a maximum of 6) will receive and explore different tools that can support both their professional and personal development.

Day 1 – Everything Starts With You

The focus for day 1 is YOU 😊 increasing self-awareness, exploring values, what your purpose is, understanding yourself and your superpowers so well that you prevent over giving, procrastination, burnout and more.

Day 2 – Human Reality not Human Resources

Taking everything gained from Day 1 and applying it to the role of HRBP/HRM with a focus on boundaries, personal identity, using your voice, getting/owning your seat at the table (wherever you are in the organisation) and more. On Day 2 we bring your learnings from Day 1 "to life" and work with you so that you are ready to apply them for 2025. This is a great time of the year to start thinking ahead and we’ll help you to reset and relaunch for success!

During the two days lunch and all refreshments are provided, and there is an after-care video call 2 weeks after attending to support the implementaton of your new found tools.

Me – Claire Roberts 😊

After working successfully in Senior HR roles in complex Global Corporates and SMEs and having hit my own burnout brick wall in 2017, I’ve made it my mission to share my story to inspire and influence others in HR to put their emotional, physical, mental and spiritual well-being first, without guilt, without compromising of what others may or may not think. Unable to find any specific HR support throughout my own career, I made the biggest choice of my career so far. To end my corporate career of more than 20 years and focus on creating a business that provides the HR profession with the same support and care that we in HR provide for others – this was when I created HR FOR HR 😊

My story began with a very simple (you’d think!) question: Who is looking after HR? This means that the tools I have created are absolutely aligned with us as “Humans” in HR. As HR People, we have our own values, identities, and purposes which, over time may have been worn down or hidden by life, expectations, demands, workload, or a global pandemic! all impacting our confidence and ability to grow and shine both personally and professionally. I am an award-winning coach and my non-negotiable ‘whole person approach’ and down to earth style means you get a truly authentic experience with me.

Katie Allen

With over 25 years' experience of working in Senior HR positions, navigating change, growth and the gritty side of HR at Exec level, Katie now works as an HR independent, undertaking the more complex HR strategic projects whilst working and developing HR professionals and teams for success. She has a huge passion for seeing HR professionals grow, develop and succeed and love now being in a position to be able to spend more of her time doing this. Katie equally knows how challenging the environment is out there, the demands have never been greater, but there is so much opportunity for our HR Teams to have a greater impact, grow and be successful and that’s why she is so excited and proud to have developed this programme with me.

Together we bring a wealth of experience and knowledge of what real life is like working in HR and can share the tools we have learned and practiced along the way (and some scars)! We regularly ask ourselves “what would we have liked to have known when we were a HRBP or HR Managers?” - it's quite a long list which we happily share with the group.
