About this event

Our 12 hour sponsored games of Dungeons and Dragons are legendary, and this year marks the fifth anniversary of these epic games! Not only will you be raising money for a fantastic charity, you will also be writing the story of our world, deciding the next chapter and making history!

Legend tells of a place where the ancient goddess Melora crafted this world. A place wher ecreation is at it's pinnacle and where, it is said, that all the wrongs in the world can be righted. The World Anvil. Will you be able to rid the world of evil once and for all?

For the first time ever, VIP tickets are available with strictly limited numbers. With your VIP ticket you will get:

  • Your event ticket for the game on Saturday 8th November
  • A VIP Pizza party (pizza included) on Friday 7th November where you will receive a presentation from the Charity Gaming Guild about our events for 2026 and beyond, followed by a "No Holds Bar Q&A" with Trustee and War Council DM's Ash and Chris.
  • A VIP Lanyard which you can collect on the Friday night
  • A premium foiled certificate confirming your event attendance
  • Early access to the venue on the Saturday morning giving you early access to the CGG Shop and our vendors for the day
  • A Special Magic Item called a "VIP Shard" - we are keeping what this does under wraps, but think of it like a one use cheat code for the game!
  • £50 VIP tickets include all of the above, but with no pizza.

Frequently asked questions

Can I still fundraise for this event even though it is now ticketed?

Yes! There will be a Just Giving page set up for this event a little closer to the event where you will be able to donate any money and get family and friends to donate to so that you can make yourself even more powerful!

I have a question about the event, where should I ask it?

The best thing to do is to join our Discord Server where you can ask any questions you like: https://discord.gg/W4KxCJSNQ6 - or you can email us on charitygamingguild@gmail.com

I am coming with friends, can we be put on the same table?

Yes! Drop us a message through Discord (see above) or email: charitygamingguild@gmail.com and we will make sure you are together, provided that there is enough space to fit you all on one table!

Who will my DM be on the day, and can I request a specific DM?

We are unable to let you know who your DM will be until the day of the event. This is because we often need to re-balance tables as we receive more information. If you would like a particular CGG DM then you can request this, but we cannot guarantee you will get this DM.

I'm new to D&D, can I still play?

Yes! Our DM's are all experienced in helping new players. Players of all ability levels and experience are welcome.

Is there an age limit?

Anyone under the age of 16 must have an adult with them for the duration of the event (the adult does not need a ticket unless they also want to play). An adult can accompany up to three under 16’s.

Are you able to accommodate disability at this event?

The venue is wheelchair friendly and has good access. In terms of other disability, we are able to accommodate most disabilities. If you would like to discuss this further then please email us charitygamingguild@gmail.com
