The Trauma Informed Mental Health First Aid Practitioner Programme

This event is a must-attend for anyone looking to enhance their skills in mental health first aid.

Create safer, more supportive environments – starting with you.

Are you someone who supports others – at work, in the community, or at home – but often feels unsure how to respond when mental health challenges arise?

Do you care deeply about wellbeing, but find yourself thinking:

"I don't know what to say..."
"I want to help, but I don’t want to make things worse..."

"I’m worried about burnout, in myself or my team..."

Then this training is for you.

What to Expect

Join us for a full-day, in-person CPD-accredited Mental Health First Aid Practitioner Training, delivered through a trauma-informed lens because mental health is about more than awareness… it’s about understanding what’s going on underneath.

You’ll leave equipped with a framework, tools and the confidence to:

✔ Spot early signs that someone is struggling
✔ Respond safely, with empathy and clarity
✔ Reduce stigma and support recovery
✔ Strengthen your own emotional wellbeing
✔ Create mentally well cultures – at work, in teams, and in life

We’ll explore trauma, the nervous system, stress responses, and how to support others without burning yourself out in the process.

Perfect For:

This training is ideal for anyone in a role where people turn to you for support:

  • Managers, Team Leaders, HR & Wellbeing Leads
  • Teachers, Pastoral and Safeguarding Staff
  • Coaches, Therapists, and Peer Mentors
  • Support Workers, Community Volunteers
  • Mental Health First Aiders due a refresher
  • Anyone who cares about mental health but doesn’t know where to start

No prior experience is needed just a desire to learn and support yourself and others more safely and effectively.

You’ll receive your CPD MHFA Practitioner Certificate on completion, along with practical tools to take away and apply immediately.
