UASC Training: Understanding the UASC Asylum Process

The North West Strategic Migration Partnership (SMP) in conjunction with Greater Manchester Immigration Aid Unit (GMIAU) are proud to bring to you this virtual ½ day UASC training entitled:

Understanding the UASC Asylum process and how to best support young people with the process.

The course is hosted by the Greater Manchester Immigration Aid Unit and it covers the asylum process for unaccompanied young people to seek asylum in the UK. This training will also include updates on changes to the legal and immigration law/policies that will impact unaccompained young people and other people with unsettled status.


No Show Policy

Please note that attendance for the UASC Training: Understanding the UASC Asylum Process event is monitored. Due to high demand and specialist content, attendees will face penalties if they fail to attend the sessions and an invoice of £50 may be issued to you or your organisation. If you can no longer attend the training session, please contact us and let us know. Alternatively, pass your invitation on to another college or foster carer who may also find the event beneficial.
