UK SERIES -Reading -- 8, 15 or 22 June -- 2.30 PM Start

Dear All Padel Players,

We are very happy to announce that the registrations for the UK SERIES -- Reading are now open!!

What are these tournaments about?

This tournament is a Men and Mixed pairs session tournament type. Men and Mixed teams will be playing in the same session

THE TOURNAMENT WILL BE PLAYED ON INDOOR COURTS.

CATEGORIES AND SESSIONS:

There will be separate categories and you will be placed in the right category based on your level. We aim to split players in the below categories

BEGINNER - 0 - 1.49 -- this player has recently started playing padel for the first time or has not yet played enough games to have the necessary confidence with the shots and court play( please mention at the check out if you feel you are within a beginner level)

INTERMEDIATE - 1.50 - 2.99-- good padel experience and capabale to play at a good level competitive matches ( please mention at the check out if you feel you are within an intermediate level)

UPPER INTERMEDIATE - 3 - 3.99 --long padel experience and capabale to play at a intense and fast competitive games ( please mention at the check out if you feel you are within an intermediate level)

ADVANCED - 4 - 4.99 -- strong padel experience, capabale to play very intense /difficult, fast long lasting rallies and matches ( please mention at the check out if you feel you are within an advanced level)

ADVANCED TOP - 5 - 5.50 -- A "padel advanced top level" player is considered someone who has a high level of skills in the sport, capable of consistently executing complex shots, playing strategically, and competing at a high level in tournaments, essentially meaning they have mastered most aspects of the game and can readily adapt to different situations with excellent control and power, often bordering on the "expert" level.

TOURNAMENTS ARE INDIVIDUAL ONES AND WILL LAST APPROX 3 / 3.30 HOURS

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Round Robin: each team will play matches against every single other team in their same category.

ONE MATCH WILL BE 1 SET OF UP TO 9 GAMES OR TIMED, DEPENDING ON THE PLAYERS NUMBERS N THE TOURNAMENT CATEGORY.

GOLDEN OR SILVER POINT AT THE DEUCE.

IN THE EVENT OF A TIE UP THERE WILL BE A TIE BREAK PLAYED TO 7 POINTS

***THERE WILL EXTRA BONUS MATCHES BETWEEN THE TWO CATEGORIES WINNER TEAMS AND BETWEEN THE TWO CATEGORIES RUNNER UP TEAMS ***

TOURNAMENTS ARE INDIVIDUAL ONES AND WILL LAST APPROX 3.30 HOURS

( please kindly be ready to be at the club 20 minutes earlier for a quick brief, changing and warming up)-- Approx finish time 5pm

Tournament PRIZES:

CATEGORY WINNERS:

BEGINNER will receive a prize +1000 points + play in the intermediate at the next tournament

NTERMEDIATE will receive a prize +1000 points + play in the upper intermediate at the next tournament

UPPER NTERMEDIATE will receive a prize +1000 points + play in the advanced category at the next tournament

ADVANCED will receive a prize +1000 points + entry into the Tenpad Advanced TOP group members

ADVANCED TOP will receive a prize + 2000 points

CATEGORY RUNNER UP:

500 POINTS

Advanced TOP -- 1000 points

The three players men and women with the highest number of points by the end of the UK SERIES 2 period will all win the prizes listed below.
