Personality change is common after brain injury but people and their families who experience it often struggle to get support. In this talk, we will discuss what we know scientifically and medically about personality change after brain injury, and we will discuss the experience of it, with a Headway member who has experienced it first-hand.

About the speaker

Vaughan is Professor at University College London, and a Neuropsychologist in the NHS.

The multidisciplinary research group investigating personality change after brain injury consists of Exeter University, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS, and Headway East London.
