Understanding Racial Trauma
Come join us at HTL Church for a powerful event where we will create a safe space to explore racial trauma. This in-person gathering will provide a safe space to learn, share, and grow together. Through insightful discussions and interactive activities, we aim to deepen our understanding of the impact of racial trauma and explore ways to promote healing and unity within our community. Don't miss this opportunity to be part of an important conversation.
Who is this event for?
Everyone is welcome. This event is being run by therapeutic counsellors who have designed this content to be in a safe trauma-informed space. The priority for this event is to be able to openly discuss and understand racial trauma in a way that can promote healing, unity and compassion within the community. Some attendee's may want to share their own racial trauma within small group discussions and others may want to attend to understand racial trauma as someone who has not experienced it. This is a safe environment inclusive to all races and experiences.
This event is aimed at ages 16+. Ages 12+ can attend with an adult.
Under 12's cannot attend
