Join us on 15/8/25 at the Centre for Life, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, for a day filled with fun activities, inspiring advocates, and community connections.


Let's come together to celebrate neurodivergence and disability and promote inclusivity! Whether you're a neurodivergent individual, an ally, or simply curious, there's something for everyone at Neurofest 2025.

ALL FAMILIES ARE WELCOME!


Workshops:

10 workshops (MINIMUM) are available to get involved in between 11am-4pm.

Featuring popular authors, artists,advocates and business owners from around the North East.

Workshops will rotate throughout the day to make sure you never miss out on your favourite session!

Create - Unleash your creativity.

Move - Fun and fitness.

Explore - Authors, advocates and experiments.


Shopping & Support:

This section showcases local businesses and organisations. stalls will be integrated throughout the event, based on feedback from Neurofest 2024, but families can choose whether to browse or not, stall holders are happy to help support families during workshops, helping to reduce overwhelm and ease transitions.


Food & Drink:

Refreshments will be provided at a small cost to families, and all funds donated will be added to the neurofest 2025 total.

We will look to apply for funding to subsidise the cost to families.

Frequently asked questions

How many people are included in a family ticket?

A family ticket is suitable for up to 5 people. Additional solo tickets can be purchased to meet you families needs. Under 3's go FREE.

Do adults need to pay?

Our activities are designed for adults and children to get involved with, we are also raising vital funds for local charities, so ask that all guests pay an entry fee. Tickets can be purchased for as low as £8 (INCLUDING ACCESS TO LIFE SCIENCE MUSEUM) ... or use our discount code to save even more!

Will food be provided?

Food is available to purchase from stallholders, as well as from the refreshments station, with proceeds added to our total funds raised.

Can you make accomodations?

Please get in touch with any sensory or accessibility needs and Katie (Unite Club) will be happy to help!

Where does my money go?

Money raised at the event will be put back into local organisations and charities that support inclusion within the community. Including Unite Club, North East Autism Society, The Special Lioness, Worleys World CIC, Union Jab CIC and Neurothentic Network CIC.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets for this event are NON_REFUNDABLE. All profits will be donated to charity. However. if the event is unable to go ahead, organisers will issue a refund to all ticket holders.

What will happen at Neurofest?

Neurofest will host a variety of family-friendly workshops helping families to create, move and explore together. We will also have a range of support services and local businesses available to help you have the best day possible! Guests also receive complimentary access to the Centre for Life.

Where can I park?

Neurofest guests can park in the Times Square/Centre for Life multi-storey car park. Guests MUST go to the centre for life RECEPTION to get your parking discounted by staff BEFORE leaving the event.

Disabled Parking?

There are spaces in the Times Square Multi-Storey 2 minutes from the venue. For those in larger vehicles or limited mobility, a small number of spaces will be reserved directly outside of our venue entrance. YOU MUST CONTACT UNITE CLUB TO RESERVE A SPACE IN THIS AREA.
