Is the venue accessible for people with disabilities, including those who use wheelchairs?

Unfortunately, the venue is not accessible for individuals with mobility impairments, as the meeting room is located on the first floor and can only be accessed via stairs. We sincerely apologize for this limitation and are happy to provide details for our online meetings as an alternative.

How do I join the meeting if I can't attend in person?

You can join us virtually via Zoom. Once you register for the event, we'll send you all the necessary Zoom registration details in your ticket confirmation email.

What should I expect from the table topics session?

Table topics involve impromptu speaking, where participants are given a topic and speak on it for 1-2 minutes. It's a fun, low-pressure way to practice thinking and speaking on your feet. Participation is voluntary, so you can join in if you feel comfortable.

Will I have to speak in front of everyone?

While there are opportunities to speak, such as during the table topics session, there is no pressure to speak if you're not comfortable. You're welcome to participate at your own pace and as you feel comfortable.

London Cardinals is London’s best Toastmasters club, achieving President's Distinguished Club status yet again in 2023!

We offer warm and welcoming environment for those who wish to build self-confidence in public speaking for both personal and professional circumstances. London Cardinals is the place where you can develop leadership qualities within the business community, foster initiative and “proactive” thinking, and improve your communication to be clear and concise, and enhance the ability to listen and evaluate objectively.

We usually have three monthly meetings on the first three Monday of the month at 6:45 pm. Our meetings have a hybrid set-up, which means you can attend in-person or online. The meetings are held at The Barley Mow Pub Function Room at the 1st Floor, 104 Horseferry Rd, London SW1P 2EE.
