This one-hour briefing will also outline the actions Derby City Council has implemented over the past 12 months in response to the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, including local service developments, safeguarding practices, and partnership approaches.


This session is ideal for professionals across all sectors who support individuals affected by domestic abuse and wish to understand the local impact and statutory duties under the Act.

IMPORTANT: As of 1st February 2025, attendees will no longer be provided an individual certificate of completion. Resources will be circulated following the training with an email confirming attendance.

Please note that webinars and briefings delivered by Derby Safeguarding Adults Board are only available for individuals who work and provide services within

Derby city and Derbyshire boundaries.
