Vinylsessions started like all things in life - as an idea! With over £17,000 raised maybe it was quite a good one. Learn how two Harrogate businessmen (one a former AV engineer with an unhealthy interest in collecting and restoring quality vintage audio) brought our first event on Wednesday 9th May 2018 with help from Simon and the Starling team – we were all a bit younger then!
It was completely new ground; friends were called for support and in our own minds its as iconic as the Sex Pistols Manchester Free Trades Hall gig in 1976! An opportunity appeared to host a David Bowie event the following month – now with media & corporate behind us we moved quickly – until covid came along in 2020.
As usual the fun starts at 7.30pm with Graham & Colins special introduction followed by playback in full, we take an interval between sides and time allowing another of our Vinyl tracks from Heaven and Hell feature!
