The main cafe and front entrance will be closed for public visitors. The side entrance will be open. The main museum and galleries will be open as normal. There will be a smaller cafe on the second floor selling drinks and sandwiches.
- Museum closed on Monday 19, Tuesday 20, Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 May
The museum will be closed for a major conference. We apologise for any inconvenience. The museum will reopen at 10am on Friday 23 May.

Admission to the Royal Armouries Museum is free. Please pre-book your visit.

Crossbow Challenge
Come and experience our exciting new Crossbow Challenge. You'll need a steady hand and sharp aim to hit the target. See how many points you can score with your 8 bolts (£8) and find out if you have the skills to join the royal ranks as a Master of the Crossbow.
Crossbow Challenge is managed by our expert team, who will provide guidance and full instructions on operating the crossbow. As these are real crossbows, we kindly ask that children under the age of 16 are accompanied by an adult.
Please be aware that during peak times, there might be a wait of up to an hour. To avoid a queue visit between 10am to 11:30am.
