Can I apply for a course at an open event?

Yes you can! The admissions team will be available to help you with your application once you’ve decided on your course.

Can I take a college tour?

You’ll be able to explore all the college facilities during your visit.

Do I need to book a place at an Open Event?

Can guests attend?

You’re welcome to bring guests to visit the college with you. We only require bookings for the prospective student.

What happens at an Open Event?

On arrival, you will be greeted by a member of our Events Team, who will sign you in. You’ll then be able to visit your chosen subject areas, talk with tutors and explore the facilities at your leisure. Please see the Agenda for time and locations for talks.

Question 7

Can I attend more than one Open Event?

Yes! You are welcome to book your place at multiple college events. This means that if you are interested in courses at different colleges, we would encourage you to book your place and attend all those that are relevant to you.

Can I speak with multiple course tutors?

Accepted Answer

You will have the option to speak to our course tutors  and discuss the content and grades required to enrol.
Our specialist teams will also be on hand to offer advice on a variety of matters including bursaries, course options, employment and transport to college.

Question 9

I am returning to education, can I get careers guidance?

At WCG we welcome applications from learners of all ages and backgrounds, including those with relevant employment experience who don't have formal academic qualifications. Our team can advise you at the events, or you can get in touch with our Careers Advice and Guidance Team at advice@wcg.ac.uk.
