Water & Wind – Mill Trail 4
In the 17th Century, on Shanklin Theatre site, there stood a windmill… and so the Mill Trail idea was born. This mill trail celebrates the industrial heritage of the rivers of Newport (Medina) and Carisbrooke (Lukely Brook).
Length of walk: 9 miles (approx 4.45 hours)

Pace of Walk: - Brisk Varying landscape with more challenging slopes. Stiles and steps to be expected en route, suitable for keen walkers and anyone who is reasonably active.
Walk grade: - Moderate Walkers need to be reasonably agile and mobile. Not suitable for walkers with mobility impairment of any kind.
