Which Showcase or Event Should Your Title be Part of?

What to expect from this session: In recent years, the number of events, showcases & live streams featuring title announcements has increased, as has typically the number of games featured in each. But as we approach the key showcase season, which event should your title be part of? This session will draw on Fancensus’ extensive video games database, covering press, social media & discoverability, comparing 40 key events & showcases in the last 2-3 years. It will cover which events created the most noise & which may be provide a risk to being drowned out. Consumer sentiment & title recollection for Geoff Keighley’s 3 major events will also be shared. If you are considering announcing your title at on of the key showcases in 2025, this session will arm you with actionable insights to help you decide which one!
