About this event

The 2025 annual conference promises to be the biggest and best yet - with 150 spaces up for grabs. The event will be held at Jungheinrich's impressive Customer Service Centre in Warrington and the theme is "The Challenges of Change" to reflect our 2025 status as a Community Interest Company.

Here's what you can expect from the day:

Switching on your strengths - Gill How...Research shows that if your manager focuses on your strengths in appraisal conversations, your performance increases by up to 36.4%. Gill How speaks about identifying your strengths and using them to your advantage, bringing experience from her career working with industry leaders including Network Rail, NHS, and GlaxoSmithKline.

Working with your strengths: We invite a panel of inspiring women from our industry to answer your questions on strengths and career development, including Jo Elms, Director of Operator and Driver Support Service Ltd, who has started her own successful business on the back of a career in transport.

Diversity Initiatives – DHL DHL join us to talk about their work on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, including their recently launched Women in Supply Chain Accelerator Programme.T

Meeting the Challenges of Change: Our world is ever-changing – this week Trump’s tariffs are throwing European ports into turmoil, next week we will no doubt be tackling a new and unforeseen challenge.Bringing guest speakers to the stage to share their experience of operational change, we discuss identifying opportunities, tracking improvements, and bringing your colleagues along on the journey to help you prepare your operation to thrive in an ever-changing environment.

Plus…

• An update from Transaid on the invaluable work they continue to do to transform lives through safe, available, and sustainable transport.

A tour of the Jungheinrich facility, including an opportunity to see some of their smart solutions up close and personal.

Speed networking with all attendees - an opportunity to speak with other industry professionals in an informal setting with "how to network brilliantly" guidance from our very ouwn Ruth Waring
