About World Citizens

• We're a safe, diverse and supportive community for global people in London who wish to meet, share perspectives and discover new cultures.
• We plan a range of different activities, including regular weekly socials, dining events, walks, trips, sports, debates and more fun activities.
• Our weekly Saturday Cafe features a mix of casual/informal networking and structured group discussions. Everyone is expected to introduce themselves and speak during the group activities.
• W e're 100% volunteer-run and aim to keep our events warm, safe, friendly and non-commercial. You can help us, too!

How to participate?

We want all our participants to feel warm, safe and comfortable while having meaningful conversations and connections. Therefore,...

1. Understand our basic community rules...

• Be respectful and courteous with everyone.
• Be present and participate actively.
• Drink responsibly (alcohol is no excuse for bad behaviour).

P lease also respect the rules and other guests at the venue where we meet.

2. W hen you arrive at the venue...

• Ask the staff for World Citizens or look for our group - we may sometimes go to walk-in venues so check our emails or meetup page for updates.
• Guests join at very different times so if you're early you may need to wait a little for others to join!

D ETAILS FOR THIS EVENT

• What: Informal socializing with a few structured group activities.
• When: Every Saturday, 5pm to 7pm + walk around Kensington/Chelsea if weather is good!
• Where: Bluebird Chelsea, 350 King's Rd, London SW3 5UU
  (Note that the venue may change from time to time, please check your inbox for updates)
• Closest stations: Sloane Square, West Brompton + walk/bus
• Cost: Pay for your own meals or drinks
• Hosts: We have a rotating team and the actual host of each event varies. Our regular members can also help you out with basic matters.

We're all volunteers, so if you enjoy organizing activities or events in your spare time, while meeting great people every week, send a message to our team!

We are a 100% volunteer-run team. Despite careful planning and structure this is a private informal activity, so we cannot be liable for any damage or inconvenience. We put safety and comfort first; we take all complaints seriously and collaborate with the police if needed. We take photos and videos, which may include you, to help promote the community in line with GDPR Data Protection law. We may restrict or prioritize guests at our own discretion for safety, quality and logistics reasons. While our admin decisions may not always be perfect we ask that you follow our decisions first and raise any disputes to discuss with us later and privately.
