You are invited to our inaugural Health and Safety in Education Convention- the first of its nature in the North of England!
A free one day event for those education professionals working with a Health and Safety remit. This will be open to state and private schools and all professionals working in an educational setting.
We look forward to welcoming you to a day of professional development and networking opportunities. This is a free event based on the theme of risk and risk management, providing opportunities for you to hear from a diverse range of inspirational speakers, as well as participating in a range of breakout workshops.
Speakers include Sarah Taylor, a former HSE Inspector, Steve Jones from CLEAPSS and the Institute of Innovation and Jenny Ainsworth, a Leadership and Business Consultant.
Generously hosted by Queen Ethelburga’s Collegiate, one of the most prestigious independent schools in the North of England, who have recently received two Silver RoSPA awards for Health and Safety Management.
This convention is aimed at anyone with Health and Safety Responsibility in Education including Health and Safety Managers, Leadership teams, Heads of School, Estates Managers, and CEOs. This is also open to all state, independent and early years settings and you do not need to be an IOSH member to attend this free event.
A free lunch and refreshments throughout the event will also be provided.
To support the organisation of this event, you will need to fill in an online questionnaire by 6th June. Information including dietary requirments will be shared with the organisers of the event, including Queen Ethelburga’s Collegiate.

The event is open to members and non-members.
