YGASTEM is launching with its very first event! A virtual day of STEM learning for young people!

YGASTEM is a new initiative to encourage black and ethnic minority students, into further study and careers within STEM. We invite all Black and ethnic minority young men and women, aged 11-18, to attend the virtual celebration of the official launch of Young Gifted and STEM!Join us virtually, hosted in collaboration with London South Bank University, for a day of discovery, inspiration and learning. This is an opportunity to hear the stories of professional black women and men in Science and Technology, Engineering and Maths, to learn more about the work they do, and to get (virtually) hands on with learning activities in free workshops.If you are a student looking into future careers advice, a school student about to sit their GCSES or just a young person who enjoys STEM and loves to learn... this event is for you! Parents and carers welcome. Please note for this event, if you are under 16, you WILL be required to attend virtually with an adult, so please ensure you have selected a ticket for them also!!!
