Ofsted Future of Education Inspection National Launch Event - West Midlands

From September 2015, Ofsted is making far-reaching changes to the way we inspect schools, further education and skills (FES) and early years provision. To give education leaders and practitioners from these sectors an opportunity to learn more about the changes we are holding a series of eight national events during June and July. This event is an opportunity to learn more about:

• The new Common Inspection Framework and how it will impact on settings on the Early Years Register, maintained schools and academies, non-association independent schools and further education and skills providers.
• Our new frequent, shorter inspections for maintained schools, academies and FES providers judged good at their last full inspection.

Each launch event will outline the changes before breaking in to remit-specific briefings to provide further information, review the new inspection arrangements, and provide an opportunity to ask questions. We will also share good practice materials to help prepare for short inspections of good schools and FES providers.

Spaces are limited to two delegates per provider/setting/organisation to ensure as many as possible have the opportunity to attend and are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. These half-day events are free to attend and spaces are offered on a first-come-first-served basis.
