DEBT AWARENESS AND SIGNPOSTING

This course will be delivered by Crosslight Debt Advice and will cover the following:

  • Causes of financial difficulty
  • Identifying when someone needs debt advice
  • Responding appropriately when someone tells you they’re in debt
  • The types of advice available
  • How advice can be assessed
  • How to prepare someone for advice
  • What they can expect from the advice process

This course is suitable for staff and volunteers in advice organisations.

The course will be 2.5 hours long. It is FREE to attendees
