The Association of Christian Writers is a charity run by Christian writers for Christian writers. We seek to encourage, inspire and equip members; to support them in their craft in an ever-changing UK culture.
Society today can often leave us feeling ill-equipped and isolated in our writing journey. As an Association we recognise this and offer a number of options to network and fellowship with other writers, including local groups, where we can receive advice and feedback to hone and develop our craft. We hold three writers’ day in England, an annual Scottish Writers’ Day and an annual retreat at Scargill House where we hear from experts in many different fields of writing. In addition, we run writing workshops at Christian Resources Together.
Members receive Christian Writer, our quarterly magazine, which is jam-packed with articles relating to writing as a Christian. This is supplemented by a wide range of high quality resources available only in the members’ area of the website.
With a dedicated committee of volunteers, most of whom are published writers, there is always someone on hand to answer questions and point you in the right direction.
